The Worship ministry works collaboratively with the Pastors and Music Directors to plan and direct all aspects of a meaningful worship experience throughout the year, guided by the Liturgical calendar. The various aspects of this Ministry include:
- Sunday services offering two distinct services, each designed to provide a unique worship experience for our congregation. The 8:30 AM service featuring traditional music, including a choir accompanied by organ, piano and other instruments. The 10:30 AM service offering contemporary music led by a praise band, with a more relaxed atmosphere to encourage participation. Both services are live-streamed and recorded for future viewing.
- Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is prepared by this Ministry and celebrated monthly at both services on the first Sunday, as well as on select holy days.
- Special Services such as Christmas and Easter have the same preparations from this Ministry as Sunday services.
- Sanctuary preparation to ensure the sanctuary is properly prepared for worship and special services.
- Flowers and decorations for the worship service fall under this Ministry.
- Ushers and greeters are recruited, trained and assigned.
